Zanu was relieved to see Khar emerge from the shadows of the forest.
"Infected" He said plainly, giving Zanu all the information he needed.
"You all go, I'll make sure none of them take us from behind" He said, looking at Khar. Khar suddenly lifted from Zanu's shoulder, gliding out ahead of the group, to check the path ahead.

   Itsune stood his ground in the back end, he motoined for Zanu to follow the pack.

     Abyss stood straight as she heard the sickly growls nearing them. "All of you, go ahead and get to the shelter." She said, clearing her throat. "Maska, you have a son to look after, Zanu, you're our eyes,  and Li is our muscle. I'll be a distraction and lure them away. You." She looked towards Itsune and Lexu. "You'll both be in the pack, yes. But, if there is any disrespect, and I die, I'll haunt you all. Is that clear?"

Zanu looked at Abyss. He hesitated before nodding. "Come on you lot, you hear her, to the den." He said, motioning the others to follow Khar, and he would bring up the back.
He didn't want to leave the ebony fea, but he knew she was right in what she was saying.

     She waited until everyone had, whether it was reluctantly, or willingly, leave her alone.

Bio: When the virus spread, Hysteria set off on her own. About 5 days after striking out on her own, Hysteria found a snake named Arrow. She made a deal with Arrow: If Arrow could travel with her and protect her with his venom, Hysteria would hunt for him and protect him.

Zanu looked back at Abyss "Are you sure you don't need help?....." He said, sort of trailing off as he knew what the answer was going to be.
Khar landed on a tree so the others could catch up with him, as he preened his redish-brown wings, the colour of rust.

     "I'll be fine. Besides, with a pelt like mine, my bad luck will surely rub off on them, and they'll die before they can even touch me." She blinked. Now that her pitch black pelt was soaked, she looked a bit thinner than the average wolf, with less build. "Be safe, all of you." She said, sitting on her haunches.

Zanu scowled slightly. He did not approve of how wolves thought that black pelts were unlucky, they wee all the same in his eyes. Even Khar, his a fraction of a wolfs size is considered an equal by Zanu. But he headed off anyway, following at the rear of the group, as to make sure no Zombies got them from behind.

     Li lowered his head a little. "What do you mean by that?" He asked, unsure of what to think.
     "Tell you what." She said, looking into the timber's eyes. "When I come back, I'll tell you. Alright?" She smiled faintly.
     The timber sighed. "Alright... Don't die, please." He blinked and began walking, carrying himself like a tiger would.
