Altian Lions are a sub-species of the African Lion. They are generally large in size and darker in color.

Males-
Mane types allowed
Juvenile- all halfs
Adult- All fulls
Ears- Large ears
Eyes- All Altain lions have Black Eyes
Markings- Cub Spots

Females-
Manes- No manes
Ears- Normal
Eyes- All Altain lions have Black Eyes
Markings- Cub Spots

Color Variations- Male and Female have the same color variations

Black, Uncommon

Albino, Rare

Eyes-

Green, Common

Blue, Uncommon

Brown, Common

Hazel, Semi Rare

Red, Rare, Only for Albinos

Temperment-
Most Altain males are very agressive, it is very rare for them to share a territory or their females. Females are much more relaxed and are very protective mothers. It is also very rare for them to give birth to cubs.
Mating season ranges from April to June.
