Map terrain help?

When ever I try to put up the map terrain but then FH crashes?
I used GIMP, and i had to export it into the terrains file becuase it would not save as  PNG, if that makes any difference?

Ah thank you, it was in 2 layers, I feel more stupid now ^^'
