Converting Weathers from IT to FH
« on: March 28, 2013, 02:57:18 am »
Hey, I was wondering it it was possible at all since I have the old IT files to convert the weathers into Feral Heart for a map im making. Since I wanted to use the thunderstorm weather file. I already tried copying and pasting the file and seeing it that'd work, along with the sounds in the sounds file of course. If anyone knows how to do this please help, it'd be much appreciated.

((Ps, I am going to refrence KovuLKD and the others whom made the files in a read me so I won't be just taking it from someone))

IT and FH are completely two different games. Its like me wanting to put Okami in my Pokemon game, it just wont work.

But you can always try to match up the same file name as the ones in the FH coding so it might show up. But once again, not completely sure you can do this.

FeralHeart:
Code: [Select]
[LightRain]
ps=Weather/Rain
offset=0 1 0
rate=600
skytop=0.8 0.775 0.75 1
skybot=0.6 0.575 0.55 1
clouds=0.859375 0.820312 0.75 1

Impressive Title:
Code: [Select]
[Rain 1]
Start=900
End=1500
SkyShader=0.5 0.5 0.5
Weather=Rain
Rate=1000

Two completely different syntaxes, so there's not a way to just, copy/paste them or anything.

-Sighs- Dang I was hoping to make it to where I could get the sky file cause of the thunder since the objects seem to work when you just copy/paste them. Thanks you guys, At least you told me the answer for it.

Well if you want thunder sound effects along with rain on a map of yours you could always just add the weather cycle like usual to your map but include a rain fall/ thunder storm mp3 to your map. Thats what I did with one of mine to get the stormy effect. Sure you might not seeing the flash of thunder like on Impressive Title but it gives the effect. I hope that can help :3
