Sudden Crash? Please help
« on: March 31, 2013, 08:44:01 pm »
-Raises paw-

Well, when I try to start my game it seems to suddenly crash. Like, before it even gets to the logg in window.
Am I missing any files or something? Please, If you know, could you help me?
I got a jar of dirt~

Maybe you should try to redownload the game.

Try opening FH as an administrator by right clicking the FH icon and then selecting 'Run as administrator'.
If not then maybe you have double particles? Check to see if you have any duplicates in your particles folder, found in Feral Heart >> Media >> Particles. [If you do, then delete the copy]
You can also wait for windows to find out the problem or you can just right click the FH icon and select 'Troubleshoot compatibility'.
Another reason could be to do with an ogre glitch. Try going into your Feral Heart folder and there should be an Ogre.CFG file. Open that up and change the rendering System for e.g.

Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
Allow NVPerfHUD=No
FSAA=0
Floating-point mode=Fastest
Full Screen=No
Rendering Device=Monitor-1-Intel(R) HD Graphics
Resource Creation Policy=Create on all devices
VSync=No
VSync Interval=1
Video Mode=800 x 600 @ 32-bit colour
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Colour Depth=32
Display Frequency=N/A
FSAA=0
Full Screen=No
RTT Preferred Mode=FBO
VSync=No
VSync Interval=1
Video Mode=800 x 600
sRGB Gamma Conversion=No

or
