Whenever I try to save a character with items on now it won't update and just holds on the updating screen. Is there a way to fix this?

That happens with Feralheart-related modifications (and sometimes the game itself) occasionally because they are considered "uncommon downloads." Your antivirus may be set to be extra sensitive setting and alarm once you try to download the item pack, even though they contain no malicious programs inside its download.

You can temporarily lower your antivirus's protection until you have downloaded the items and installed them, or try another browser. Good luck!
