When i load the game i chose my charecter hit the start button but when i get in all i can see is my character and the icons i dont know what to do plz help

Try clicking the feather icon or pressing B on your keyboard.
A menu will pop up. Press the Home tab and Reset Your Home, then use Go Home.

I tried that but it says "Cannot find Map file"

Perhaps you need to re download the game again so it will reset itself with the proper components to run the game. Either that or take a look at this link that will help ya.
