Maps
« on: April 28, 2013, 10:28:01 pm »
I downloaded the Cinema map from Red's corner, and I'm not sure if I did it wrong or not, but I don't know how to get to that map. If someone could tell me how to get to the map, or how to export the file properly, that would be alot of help ^_^

Did you close your game and restart after downloading the map? The portal will not appear if you downloaded it while the game was open unless you restart the game. If that still doesn't make it appear try placing the files like so instead:

FHM files go into FH>Media>Terrains
FHO files go into FH>Media>Objects
FHS/FHW go into FH>Media>Sky
Mp3 go into FH>Media>Sounds/Music
Then restart the game

Hope that helps.
You can also try reinstalling the map again in case you did something wrong the first time you tried to download it.

P.s. I think it's kinda unnecessary to make a poll..It would help you.. ( No offense)

Ok first off floof, please don't uses polls. Is really unneeded and really unnecessary

Also, when downloading Cinema, there should be a little notepad that had instructions in it. Make sure you read that and place the needed items in the correct folder in your Feral Heart folder. When you put all your exports in the Feral Heart export folder and all it's needed other items, then the portal to the Cinema map will be in Caps of the Distance. There you will see another portal and the name Cinema overhead when you get near. Good luck floof

I fixed where all the files go, now I just can't find the map XD. I moved the map file with all of the other map files, I just can't find it :/ or don't know where to look. Do I look in the lonely cave? that's where I have been looking this whole time.

Great! Just simply you know  go to Cape , if you know where that is. That's where the maps portal will usually hang out. Hope this help and good luck.

I checked the cape, it wasn't there. I did what you said.

I put the FHO files in Media>Objects

Then the FHM files in Media>Terrain> and then a file called FH maps or something

FHM files go into FH>Media>Terrains
FHO files go into FH>Media>Objects
FHS/FHW go into FH>Media>Sky
Mp3 go into FH>Media>Sounds/Music
Then restart the game

What I do:
Put ALL files but the MP3's in Exports.
Put the MP3's in either sounds or music. Just read the readme, really.
Look in Cape of Distant Worlds, and go near all portals, look at the top of the screen.
If it says Feralheart cinema or anything like that, then go in.
Tada! All files in exports, okay? not the MP3's, remember.
Read mister read me, and you might be less confused. ;)
