Unable to make maps?

Everyone should be able to create maps.
It might just be your map heightscale or mask. Make sure that your heightscale and mask don't have more than one layer, the heightscale in set to Grayscale, and you put them both in the correct folder, the folder I like to use is exports but I think there's another one too.

Do you mean the heightmap? One reason is that if you make a heightmap by making a new file it'll not work. You have to open defaultTerrain in the default folder in terrains and edit that than click save as. Also,take what BouncyLion101 said. The manual is incorrect by saying you have to open Watermill Terrain ): I hope that works.
