making a video

I need help im trying to make a music video on fh, but how do you take the chat away when your typing, like i know you press tab but how do you make the chat not show and when you typing in it

Don't think you can type without the chat showing.
My best recommendation is that you type it, quickly press tab, and edit out the part of the video where the chat is showing.
Don't know much about editing videos, but I know you need an editing software to edit.
