1. Not sure, and I don't think it's a good idea, and I don't think it's needed.

2. I think it is already exported because it's object group is exported too, and so is the textures itself like a preset, so no need to add the texture files for a object in a map, when you check a custom map with custom textures.
Remember, mp3's are to be added to the download. Exports is to. So is sounds, and stuff like water textures and materials. Exports is very important though. But you need to add any custom water materials and textures, and sounds and music.

Hope this helped~

1. Can I rename the .fho files of my map in export folder?

Answer:
Yes, it is possible but not recommended because it will cause your map's exported files to mess up and once others have downloaded the map, it won't show up.

2. If I use custom textures for objects, do I have to include them in my map folder which I put up for download, or all the needed things are already in export files? Generally, what would I have to add separately besides the files in export folder?

When you change the textures of the objects and then export your map, it will show up once you put the map for download. It automatically shows up with the texture you changed it to.

Summary: You change the texture, export the map, others will download it and it will show as the texture you changed it to.

Water materials and its textures, alongside sounds and music in the map.
And you can add more than one object to a new group, as long as it's new and fresh.
Sorry if I'm being a bit useless in any way, brain is derpy.
