poopy presets [Another added]
« on: May 17, 2013, 02:44:41 pm »
After months upon months of gazing in awe at other's jaw-dropping presets... I felt it was time to give it an attempt myself!  I've half-heartedly dabbled at it before, but have never seriously started something with the intent to finish; I've been too intimidated by everyone's amazing work. Hope I'll be as good one day! :D

Edit 23/03/2015:  I made another one after a small eternity. My wolf Drek (known as Drek Avanji on other sites) was the latest victim. He's in Flourite a lot-- feel free to say hi! It's a bit of a mess, but-....!

Drek

Skreel

(He's my main character on public maps; there's a very good chance you'll see him!)

I picked a challenge-- my battlescarred, spotted hyena, Skreel. It took eight hours of pain (most of which was spent trying to work out what piece went where) and a lot of confusion. I wish I could've added glowing eyes, but wasn't sure how to shove the code in alongside the two-sided transparency!

(I think the texture used was a combination of several of Toxic's-- my own was a bit too fuzzy for this character!)

Request: Mistah

I needed a little practice and was, luckily, asked to do a hyena again! The character belongs to Yecurzo/Smugwing. She has glowing eyes, pawpads, claws, mouth and tail! I used little bits of Toxic's texture here again.

Obligatory tongue!

... I tried! :P

(Will attempt to compile the images a bit better later, too!)

Wow, that's such a beautiful first preset. I was kinda picturing your first preset have a skull look to it, but this is still truly amazing. Great job ^^
I Stalk from time to time...I have moved on to other things but do miss this place. Good times

@Floana: Thank'oo very much! <3

@Hugrf: Ahsjfks, thanks a million-- but I'm really not that great! The other FH preset people completely crush me with their sheer talent! ; ;

@Feareh: Thank'ees! I really, really wanted to make a skullcreature, but... I've admittedly no idea how to preset a skull onto a character! Baku's preset has me in awe every time. :D

@~Shallow~: Thanks a million! :D Hopefully I'll be able to catch up to everyone else with a few months of practice!

(Added Smugwing's request, too-- 'twas tricky to get the code to work properly!)

It looks wonderful! I'm amazed, truly. Will you take requests for free? just a question.
Also, a question, where did you get the fur textures?

No problem - and there is no rush floof c:
When being this good at start it's bound to become great! Oh and the codes are quite simple once you get the hang of them ;3

The other preset is also really good - the colors are nice and how you blend the markings so that it looks natural is perfect. The glowing texture looks cool - she really does look toxic~
