Chapter One:
Kyo Jai Kun Si sat in the shade of a maple tree. His orange-brown fur was sleek and shiny. The alpha wolf of his pack looked off in the distance.
"Kun Si?" A voice startled the Alpha. His head turned and he saw Toh Mai La Kie sitting beside him. She smiled, and Kyo nodded his head.
"Hello, La Kie. What brings you here today?" He asked her.
Toh frowned. "There is no easy way to say this, but the market here is shut down. The closest open market is miles away, and across the Kusi Kun Leaihu Pack Territory."
Kyo was shocked, and very surprised. "How has this happened?"
"The Kusi Kun Leaihu's invaded. Stole everything, leaving the market shacks, and some very startled bears."
Those damn Kusi Kun's.... Kyo thought to himself.
He turned and looked off into the distance again. The sun was still rising, and it was barely past dawn. "Send two of the fastest, and two of the strongest. Send them to the Kusi Kun Leaihu Marketplace."
Toh was aghast. "N-now?"
Kyo flashed a look of sincere darkness. "Now." He said deeply.
