Particles?
« on: May 19, 2013, 05:00:02 pm »
I have images of the splash, star, and watersmoke particles, but they won't show up as actual files or particles in the game. Could I have some help? Also, what I said above about not showing up in game, I mean in object maker I go into EffectMaker and type in something.particle to see if there's an actual file, and it doesn't work. It says 'something.particle cannot be found!'

If they don't come up in the game and don't work in EffectMaker maybe they're just effects added to the game? They probably do show up in the game but not as you think they would. Usually it's best not to mess with the files if they add images to the game or any effects.

You need to place the particle images in FeralHeart>Media>Particles for Feral Heart to be able to use it, hun. ^-^
I'm thinking that's the problem here, but if you have already checked that you've done that and it still isn't working, I may or not be able to help as I don't have much experience with Particles.

@WolfSpirit I don't understand your comment.
@Bouncy They're already there, pictures and all.

Do you have the something.particle in the Particles folder too? And the material file?

Sorry I wasn't quite clear, but not many people have experience with particles, and was it ever working before? Or has the particles never worked before?

Jay, I don't think you type in something.particle
Open the something.particle thingy with notepad.
At the very top, it should say what you type in in Effect Maker.
For example, AlbacoreTuna
Type the neat words in Effect Maker. That's pretty much all I know what to say here. XD
