Strays of the Ruins. (Stray dog/cat RP, open & accepting)

cara licked and crooned to her pups they were scared and tired she flopped down on her side so that they could nurse. but she realized she hardly had any milk. she had to go find something to eat. she noticed that the wolf was gone. licked each one of her pups once more and hid them under an overhang then she padded away looking for something to eat. she spotted a seagull not to far away. she ran at it not knowing how to hunt but it flew away she kept attempting to catch prey she tried many different techniques but was not succesful. she walked over to the pool of water  to get a drink. then padded back to her pups hoping that they could hold off without milk.

Gavroche glared downward, dissatisfied with submitting to authority. "Yeah, yeah. Can we just go hunt now?" He muttered, staring up at Dusty. He trotted through the sand a few strides in new found excitement as the male challenged him with hunting. With a smirk, the pup dashed downshore, spraying up sand behind him with each stride. He skidded to a stop in frontt of the row of rocks where Flak was wandering on the top. The ocean had left little tide pools in the crevices between the rocks, a perfect place to find sea food. Gavroche leaped up onto a low rock and hopped into the shallow tide pool with a small splash. The still water came up to his belly as he trudged around, eyes scanning for something edible.



 Flak blew a huff from his maw and shifted his weight back to his haunches on the highest rock overlooking the dark sea. The surf pounded against the rocks far ahead and the gentle ocean breeze filtered through his thick black fur. His ear swiveled at Gavroche's splash not far behind him on a lower down rock, but he kept his attention on the horizon, thinking to himself.

Teegan continued to bound through the water like a pup as specks of water lunged up into the air, waved crashed across the sea as they rippled up the sand as the fae decided to run up and down the shore away from the waves. Then getting bored of that she went for a swim her legs lashed against the sea as the waves continued to lunge across the sea her tongue lolled out her mouth as she let out a puppy like bark. Then swimming out of the sea she heard a bark of panic as her head shot around as she spotted Dusty and Risto in the water looking for Gov as she gasped then let out a snarl "That pup never learns" she sighed bounding across the shallows of the water as she arrived at the small group, it seemed Flak had already snapped at the small pup for disobaying his orders as her brows lowered at the small pup her head then lifting up as they paced between the others "Everything ok? Everyone ok?" She muttered in a fast tone as she began to shake her drenched pelt in order to get it atleast a little more dry as specks of water flew from her pelt. Her heart pounded as she lowered onto her hunches small ammounts od water continued to drip for her fur as she waited for the brutes answer. Panic still overwhelmed her as the pup could have been close to death, shock could be seen in her eyes.


Micah heard many barks from the other dogs as she assumed they were having a good time in the sea, coming to practically the edge of the beach she turned back around as water covered the rest of the sand. Her paw prints followed her along the beach as she began to head back the way she came, noticing the group was huddled together she guessed something was wrong. With no hesitation she bounded across the beach towards the others, to get there faster she cut through the water causing the salty sea to fly up from under her paws causing many splashes as she grew closer towards the others, Flak and the others not looking to happy as the small pup looked hightly amused as she let out a snarl "Guess he's don't something wrong, again" she muttered to herself rolling her eyes as she arrived back on shore nearly near the others as she shook her pelt causing specks of water to fly out. The white shepherd then continued to bound towards the others as she arrived at them her tongue slightly lolled out her muzzle as she looked at the others "What happened?" She questioned as she didn't have an idea about what happened but she guessed the pup done something wrong. A sigh escaped her maw as she remained on her paws awaiting an answer from someone.

cara listened to her pups whimpering trying to get milk and yipping in confusion when none came. she had to do something. she walked over to flak who was  standing by some tidal pool "um flak>" she said nervously "um... can-can you teach me how to hunt?" she hated to admit it but the big dog intimidated her

Flak flicked an ear as Teegan and Micah arrived to the center of the commotion. He shrugged it off and decided to let Dusty handle it as he continued peering out over the hazy horizon, in deep thought about their next move. Suddenly, a familiar voice broke his train of thought. With an annoyed growl, he turned his head to see Cara creeping up submissively. He couldn't help but roll his eyes at what she asked. "You mean you don't-" he let out a frustrated sigh. "how do you not know how to-" Scrunching his eyes shut, he let out another sigh, softening his tone. "Sure. I'll teach you." He responded at last.

"Oh come on, Vicci! Get down here." Xizon replied impatiently, a frown upon her face as she glared up at the cat. She turned around, tilting her head at the small commotion, but her attention was diverted back to her friend, only to get a face full of sand.

Vicci perked her ears, rolling her eyes at Xizon. "Fine," she muttered, but seeming like the dog didn't hear that, she smirked, jumping down into the sand, immediately kicking her hind legs upon contact with the ground, sending bits of sand to the Coolie's face. She laughed, running off towards the beach as she heard Xizon yelling and coming after her.

"if what you were going to say before was :how doyou not know how to hunt? then i will tell you, these pups." she said guesturing towards the pups "they arent my first my owner was a breeder not the kind who breeds dogs constantly even if they are in bad conidtion but the kind of breeder who lovingly gives there dog a mate and lets them have pups unforniutaly after 8 weeks they took my pups away. so does answer your question i never had time to hunt or a purpose to hunt" she said all this very quietly then sat down on her haunchs waiting for flak to start teaching her

"Yeah, yeah, I don't need your sob story." Flak huffed, rising to his paws and hopping down to a lower rock. "Just follow me." He said over his shoulder, walking sure-footedly along the row of slippery ocean-sprayed rocks to the area where there were many tide pools collected in the crevices between them, not too far from Gavroche and Dusty. Wading into one of the shallow pools, he halted and glanced over his shoulder, waiting for her

"Suit yourself" Teegan muttered as she padded off along the beach as the small waves rippled up the beach and splahed up her legs as she let out a sigh "What's with everyone lately" she muttered to herself as her stomach rumbled "And I need food" she muttered as she headed into the water in order to find some fish. She guessed some would be in the shallows so she padded through the water until she found some pretty large fish "I guess this will do" she muttered as she waited for the fish to get into a position which would make it easier for her to catch. When the right moment came the female shepherd shot her head into the water and latched her jaws onto the slippers fishes side causing blood to spill into her mouth as the fish continued to struggle, her grip got tighter each time it moved. Her tail wagged as she bounded out the water and up the sand as she dropped the fish onto the sand a chuckle escaped her maw as the fish flapped around on the sand sending small particles of it up into the air as she followed the fish giggling them slamming her paws onto its side and biting into it as it gave one last struggle as it then died. Teegan lowered onto her stomach and placed one paw on the fish and the other beside it as she began to bite into its stomach as the tasty taste of fish filled her mouth. She remained a short distance away from the others as she continued to eat her kill.



Micah shrugged as Flak padded off as she turned to see Teegan pad off in a slight sulk as she waited for a reply from Dusty, but he seemed to busy in taking the pup for a swim as she shrugged and padded away. Seeing as everyone was going their own thing; Flak teaching cara to hunt, Dusty taking Gov hunting the feline and the canine doing their own this, Risto sitting in the sand with the others and Teegan hunting then padding off the eat it she let out a sigh. Maybe she should go for a walk? She muttered to herself as she shrugged letting out a snarl the white shepherd padded across the rocks that were close to the cliff that lead to a rocky pier as she decided to go across although it didn't look to stirdy she believed it was. Her tail wagged as she walked across the long pier as she came towards the end, it wasn't as long as the wooden one though. Letting out a yip she lowered onto her hunches and sat at the edge as the waves gently batted against the pier, a cool breeze blowing through her pelt.

cara followed flak down the rocks towards some more tidal pools
