Risto watched Dusty and the pup was he flicked one wet ear. He was glad that Flak had scolded that useless, dumb pup once again for his stupid adventures. What was the point in them, anyway? He let out a grunt as Teegan and Micah came running over, ignoring them as they both poured out questions. Let Dusty answer them. The feline decided, resting on his haunches.
But Dusty seemed to ignore the female canines for some reason. Or he appeared not to hear them. Whatever. They'll find out sooner or later. Risto muttered to himself, rising to his paws and stretching. He glanced around, deciding that he might as well hunt for the rest of the group, instead of scouting for herbs. The thin line of trees was practically useless for herbs. The feline let out a snort of amusement as he heard Cara asking Flak to teach her how to hunt. "Dumb mutt." Risto scoffed, scurrying off towards the flat rock. He scooped out the sand and checked on the precious herbs, along with the bird, and grunted with satisfaction. They were all still there.
He heard a giggle sound nearby, and he turned to see Teegan slamming her paw against a large fish, making blood splatter out from it.
"Great catch!" He called, not sure if the canine would hear him or not. Shrugging, he began to pad along the shore, letting his paws sink into the sand. He glanced up to see Vicci sprinting across the sand, with Xizon galloping behind her. He lunged out of the way from Vicci's path, his tail-tip twitching irritably.
"Watch it!" He muttered. Continuing on his way, he began to hunt near the shallows for any sight of prey.
