((Sorry, busy. Short post))
Risto felt every muscle tense as Flak leaped towards the same mutant. Although he wanted to see the mutant get ripped up by Flak, he knew that Flak would get injured as well, in spite of the brute's wounds. Hissing, he lunged forward, snatching the black dog's tail and jerking it back, just as the mutant did with Risto's. Snarling, he unsheathed his claws, wincing at the pain before clinging onto the gravel, the gravel pricking at his paws. Just as he pulled back, a familiar tan shape burst from down the slope, and Dusty stared at Risto and Flak. Before Risto could explain, Dusty had already bounded towards him and slammed his paw over Risto head, sending him sprawling onto the ground. Below Risto, the edge of the clearing groaned, and Risto quickly darted to his paws.
"What are Rwer's name do you think you're doing?" Risto spat, dodging a hard blow from Dusty. "You've got the wrong enemy! It's over there!" Risto screeched as Dusty pounced on him, shoving the tom over. The cliff shuffled again, and this time, small corks clattered down.
"What?" Dusty snapped his attention back to the mutant, and realized that the creature was trapping another fae against the wall. Muttering a "sorry", Dusty turned and left Risto before streaking towards the mutant. Risto heard a snarl, then a yelp, before he heard Dusty bark, "Come on, Teegan! I need your help!"
Grunting, Risto hauled himself over the edge and heaved himself onto the gravel, grateful for the feeling of solid ground. Shaking out his pelt, he rushed over to Flak and sniffed at his wounds. "You didn't open any of them, did you?" he questioned, giving a glance over his shoulder. Panic balled in him as he realized that Gavroche wasn't with Dusty.
"Where's Gavroche?" Risto called over to Dusty, who was distracting the mutant from the fae.
"He should be here any minute," Dusty growled, swiping his paw at the mutant's muzzle.
"Fish brain," Risto muttered to himself, before waiting for Flak's response.
