The Basenji lightened up a little as the larger canine offered him some food, his curled tail had begun to wag "Sure if you don't mind, I wouldn't want to intrude" he smiled slightly "But would the others mind?" He questioned he didn't want to upset the rest of the canines back, judging by his stance and how he took the time to investigate it was clear he was the most daminant of the group. Jips tail began to wag a little as he waited for the canines reply.

(Just some hunting, and Taylor's new character just showed up so Flak's inviting him over cause they have a lot of food to go around.)


Flak glanced down the cliff's edge, lowering an eyebrow as he eyed the pack below, then turned his head back to face the stranger. "They won't mind. Don't worry." He assured, his tail swaying a bit.

A smile grew across the small canines face as he let out a sigh of relief "Phew heh, we'll sure I could come down" he smiled, his tail began to wag a little faster, his head turned to the birds who stopped fighting and begun chasing eachother. But still made a lot of noise causing him to roll his eyes at the pests, he then turned his head and glanced at the large black canine to see what he would say next.

Vicci paused her steps as she heard the other feline yell over to Flak. Turning her head, her eyes caught sight of a strange, slightly smaller dog, and narrowed her eyes. Well, great. Another possible dog who wouldn't  be any less different than the others. She stayed and watched for a moment, but when Flak walked over and didn't seem to be hostile towards it, she hissed to herself and stormed off, tail flicking agitatedly as she moved away from the shore.

"Well, then, c'mon." Flak motioned with his head for the stranger to follow and turned around. "Name's Flak, by the way." He added over his shoulder as he began picking his way back down the short distance on the cliff to the shore. His tail was still arched high in authority, his steps slow and sure-footed.

Jip let out a smile at the canine as he started off down the cliff, his tail continued to wag as his ears perked at the dog as he spoke "Nice to meet you Flak, I'm Jip" he smiled as he followed the larger dog down the cliffs. Taking every step with care as he looked down at the large drop beside it, his view forwards to where Flak was taking him then at the pack that were sitting on the beach, he then concentrated on where he was stepping to ensure he didn't fall.

Gavroche stopped his hunting, lifting his paw and releasing the crab as he turned to see what the commotion was about. He sprang out of the pool and trotted over to Dusty, scrunching his muzzle at the sight of a newcomer. He took a couple steps forward as Flak reached the breach with the stranger behind him. "Who's the new guy?" The pup barked, obviously not taking a liking to the stranger at first.



Flak trotted down the ledge until he reached the drop off that forced a small leap down to the beach. Without even slowing, he confidently hopped from the ledge and down to the shore, landing gracefully in the sand. He turned to make sure Jip was following, but the pup's words made his ear swivel. "This is Jip." Flak started, turning to address the whole pack. "He's gonna be joining us since we have more than enough food now." He barked, keeping his posture straight and tail arched high. The big black brute's stern gaze drifted from one creature to the other as he spoke. "And none of you will be giving him any trouble, or you'll have to deal with me." He huffed, knowing for a fact at least a couple of the outspoken pack members would have some sort of protest. Without further words, Flak turned and began walking back towards his post on the rocks, keeping one ear attentive to the pack and the stranger to ensure there would be no harsh 'welcomes'

Teegan turned her head to see Flak bringing the new comer down, her tail slightly wagged as she spotted the small brown figure behind him. She lifted to her haunches as a few of the canines spoke but she just rolled her eyes and looked back at the two canines who were heading their way. A welcoming smile grew across her face as they finally came closer nodding to everything Flak had to say "Well welcome Jip, I'm Teegan" she smiled then giving him a nod of her head, she knew at least one of the pack members would have something against him so wouldn't be something for him to worry about. She lowered back onto her stomach as her gaze turned back towards the sea, and paced back to the back, going back and forth between the two.



Micah watched as everyone seemed to be concentrated on the new come, letting out a huff she lifted to her paws and padded along the pier, a cold breeze continued to blow. Reaching the rocks she hurried across them quickly but carefully and taking a small leap onto the sand gracefully. Padding along the sand slowly she soon came to the small group as Flak and the newcomer came closer, a small smile grew on her face and her tail wagged. Flak spoke about enough food and no one giving him trouble as she nodded her head then looked at the small canine. Teegan seemed to be the first to welcome the tiny canine, her head then turning to look at them "Welcome Jip, I'm Micah" she smiled lowering onto the sand deciding to stay with the rest of the group, sitting alone on the pier seemed pretty boring.



Jip padded down the cliff as he watched the large canine jump down swiftly, then hearing one of the dogs speak causing him to slowly whip his head around a little one member of the pack already seemed to not be taking a liking to him. Letting out a sigh he stopped at the drop backing up a little then leaping softly onto the sand, he followed Flak closer towards the group. His tail still seemed to wag even though he felt many eyes on him, the small Basenji listened as the brute spoke telling them what had happened and about no one bothering him. "Thanks" he smiled at the brute as he smiled, the black canine then sitting next to the food pile. His gaze shifted onto a brown shepherd sitting on the rock who first welcomed him "Thanks, nice to meet you Teegan" he smiled as she also introduced herself his gaze then on the white shepherd who also welcomed him and introduced herself "Thank you" he smilled wagging his tail. The small canine then lowering onto his haunches examining the rest of the pack.

Risto let out a grunt, glaring suspiciously at the new canine in the group. Wow. Flak's becoming more of a leader now. He reflected, squinting at the brute. Flicking his tail, he glanced at Jip, a growl forming in his throat. Pushing it down with a swallow, he reluctantly forced himself to nod politely at Jip. "Name's Risto." He introduced himself, turning away. Without waiting for a reply, the feline stomped away, irritated with Flak for letting another annoying pest to stay with them. Retreating towards the edge of the forest, he watched as Dusty eagerly introduced himself. Letting out a snort, the tom headed into the forest. He noticed Vicci heading there as well, but he decided not to draw attention towards himself. Ignoring the she-cat, he hurried past her and barged into the bushes, letting the thorns scrap his fur.
