Maybe cause we're not used to being around wolves? Risto suggested inside of him, but kept his mouth shut. When Marie abruptly stopped and glanced at him, he cleared his throat. "Um...I was wondering if I should scout around the place. You know, get to see the right hunting spots and all." The feline murmured, glancing at Marie, then at Flak. Letting out a little sigh, he nodded at the wolf. "Look. I know it's none of my business at all, but I do admire you for what you have done. I know you might be a little hurt or actually hurt at our actions towards you, but you have to understand we are much different from you. We don't or didn't live in the wild, we didn't have a pack, and we certainty did not live anything like what you wolves live like." Risto told Marie, flicking his tail. "It would probably be the same for you if you were a housepet or a stray, obviously not a wolf. Well you might be thinking something else, but you have to also understand you are not us, so it will be harder for you to understand our ways.
"Even though it looks like I don't trust you, I really do, but sometimes, you've got to be wary in what your trust. Not everything is legitimate or strong in trust."
