Is there such thing as an overly detailed HeightMap?
« on: May 28, 2013, 11:44:43 pm »
I have a problem when loading my Heightmap. It has ONE layer, it is 513x513, and it crashes the game when I load it.

The mask works though.
Picture:

So, Is it too detailed? Is that why it is crashing?

Solution 4 is my best bet. I will edit this when I have results

Converting to .jpg and back to .png is HIGHLY recommended by me. It fixed my problem, so if you have everything right, and it crashes, try doing what I did.

It doesn't look too detailed. I've made a high detailed map as well, and it didn't seem to crash. Something could possibly be wrong with your game, maybe if you tried to download it again, it would POSSIBLY work.
