"You get used to it." Billy muttered over his shoulder as they finally galloped across ths city line. Glancing back, he noticed all the officers had halted their horses at it, simply because they had no need to pursue someone outside their town lines."Home free," Billy murmured under his breath before pulling up Westwood to a halt and turning him so his right side was facing the officers who were by then some distance away, still standing at the city lines. "That's right, you'd better stop there, ya yellow-bellied jackals!" He shouted at the officers, tugging on the reins so the stallion would rear up. As the horse's forehooves came back down, Billy glanced at Elizabeth with a smirk, satisfied with his little show off mockery towards the cops. "right, let's be movin', then." He jerked Westwood's head to the left, turning him away from the town in the distance and urging him into a trot.
