Elizabeth bites her lip, sets Bella down, then hugs him tightly. She buries her face in his neck and stays silent.

The two sat at the river for a while as Ashleigh dipped her hands into the fresh, flowing water and rubbed her hands together, then lifting them to her face with water in as if she was using them as a bowl to hold the water. She began ro rub her face getting off any marks that were laying upon her face. A whistle escaped her mouth as thuds vibrated the ground her head turning to see the large stallion galloping down the hill followed by the smaller black mare as she gave a smile. "So this what your lifes like?" John questioned stopping for a minute as Ash stayed quiet "Traveling around, relaxing with your horse?" He softly added as she let out a sight. "Yeah that's basically how my life goes, no' to exciting" she let out a small chuckle "Yeah? Well better than anything I do." He muttered "Spending most my days at the ol'saloon without a hope in hell what I'm gonna' do or what's gonna happen" he stopped again to take a breath "But I guess I can't complain" he stopped and looked at her with a smile then turning his head to face the horses galloping down the hill, then looking at his reflection in the water. "Oh, well you could travel around with me? I mean it does get lonely traveling aroun' I could do wit some company yino?" She smiled looking at him then turning to see the two horses drinking from the river. "You say? I would love to join you" he smiled as he looked at her.
Ahsleigh turned "Hey, you wanna' go on a mornin ride?" She questioned as she lifted to her feet and looked down at the male "Why sure, I'd love to" he smiled as the two walked over to their horses and hopped in the saddle. "So where to now?" He questioned as Ashleigh just put her hat on "Where ever their hooves take us" she smiled clicking as her horse walked on "Oh well this should be good" he chuckled as the two set off up the hill.

Billy stood stiffly for a moment, rather in surprise as Elizabeth clung on to him. Slowly, he raised an arm to return the huffing gesture, standing still like this for a couple minutes. His mind snapping back into reality, he finally let go and stepped back, knowing he didn't have long to stay anymore at this point. Silently, he picked up his Stetson hat from the table and put it on his head, glancing back over at Elizabeth. "Stay here 'til John comes back in the spring, 'n let him know the whole story. I'm sure he wouldn't mind ya stayin' as long as you need to." He instructed quietly, slipping an arm into his jacket sleeve.

Elizabeth's eyes fill with tears. "will ya come back to us....?" Bella wobbles over and hugs his leg, grinning up at him.

Billy scratched his head under his hat and let out a sigh, thinking. "Yeah. Once my name clears up in this town." He lied, knowing that this was no longer a law-safe haven for him and his criminal record. Once the wanted signs go up, they don't go down until that person is either caught or killed, but he refrained from mentioning that detail to Elizabeth.

Wait." she takes off her little gold ring, and yanks out her hair ribbon. She strings it on and stands on tiptoes, tying it carefully around his neck. "so you won't forget us..."

[Jackkdaw]

He raised an eyebrow and leaned down a bit as she slung the momento over his neck. "Heh, I won't forget about ya. Don't worry." He replied with a humble chuckle, straightening back up as he finished putting his jacket on.

She bites her lip, and then kisses him softly. "goodbye Billy..."
