Jake glared over at Billy for a second. "You can't pull Indian war arrows out. You have to push them the rest of the way through or cut it out." He said and laid Elizabeth down on her stomach. "Thank you, Charlie." He called as she started off. He stayed crouched beside Elizabeth, looking up at Billy. "The base of the arrow head is too wide to just pull it out." He said as he got his knife out of his holster.

Billy let out a huff, crouching back down. "Well excuse the Hell outa me. Ain't never had to deal with this crap before." He snapped, eyeing the arrow. (Shortness)

Charlie leaned against a tree, chewing on a dried up ear of corn. She was trying to get the picture of the arrow out of her mind. Once she was feeling strong enough, she mounted Mouse again and set off back for the 'campsite'. She had caught a raven in a trap earlier on since her hands hadn't been steady enough to use the gun and it was hanging from a rope sling over her shoulder.

Jake sighed. "Well, then shut up and listen. Hurry up and put that stuff on. The longer we sit here jawin, the more hurtful this thing's getting." He said and quickly wiped his knife off.

Billy clenched his teeth, glaring at Jake for a second before unscrewing the cap on the tube of medicine. "Yeah, yeah, yeah." He murmured, glancing down at Elizabeth."This'll probably sting a bit." He warned before quickly pouring the medicine over her bloody wound.

Elizabeth squeals at the pain, whimpering and trying very hard to stay still, but shifting and squirming a little. Her eyed are huge, and she stares up at them, hoping for the best.

Jake sighed as she squirmed. "Hold still!" He said sternly, putting his knee on her other shoulder to hold her still. He put his hand on her back to steady himself as he lowered his knife, cutting at the side of the arrow's entry wound to widen it.
