Charlie followed Lucky into the tent, she took a sip on Jake's canteen and passed it back to him. "Thanks." She said, sighing as the cool air wrapped around her. She sat down at the opposite side of the tent, hugging her knees. She opened her satchel and quickly pulled out her necklace, twirling it round in her fingers.

Jake laid down and put his hat over his face. "God...I'm tired." He sighed as he put his hand on his bent knee. "Do y'all have any history with the Indians?" He asked.

Charlie looked up as Jake spoke, she sighed. "When I was a little gal, I had a younger cousin. He was like a brother to me, and it was just me and him. We each had a horse, mine was Mouse and his was Sandy. One day, we was just out for a ride when he fell to the ground. Dead. He had an arrow lodged in his chest, I rode all of the way back home and left Sandy for the Indians to take." She looked up from the floor and shrugged. "True story." She said simply, clipping her necklace around her neck.

There's a squeal from outside. Elizabeth comes running in, her deerskin top ripped clean off. She's tre,boing and crying.

Jake sighed. "I'm sorry to hear that." He said and looked over at the opening of the tent as Elizabeth came in. "Holy -Removed by Moderator-. What happened?" He asked as he stood up, looking over towards the opening. He stepped over and out, looking in for an explanation from Elizabeth.

Charlie clamped a hand over her mouth as Elizabeth came running in. She immediately stood up and walked over to the girl, wrapping her arms around her trembling body. She dug around in her satchel and brought out a thick shawl she rarely uses. She draped it over Elizabeth's shoulders, "What happened? Who did this to you?" She asked, her voice laced with concern.

She shakes her head, crying hysterically and hiding her face in Charlie's shoulder. Blood drips down her legs and stains her skirt, from being groped too hard.

Jake looked over at Charlie. "Okay...she have to take her. But we can't steal her, we have to leave them something. " he nodded and looked between Charlie and Billy. "Charlie, take her out, and take Bella. Go get on Mouse and Pistol and leave. You can't take Luna, we need her and the colt here. Okay? Ride the direction I went. There is a river not to far away." He said and stood up. "I've had enough of this. Billy, go with them." He said and walked over to Redbord.
