She waits for him to fill his stomach before tearing into the juicer part of the elks body the starts to lick her paws and muzzle clean since she wouldn't be able to make it to the stream

Dawn wakes up an hour later to find the storm has stopped for now " what do you think brother? Hunt for more food or a quick patrol?" She asks him as she comes up to sit next to him

"How about a patrol? We have food for now, and with all the rain our border markers are probably washed away by now." he said thoughtfully.
