Map Dissapearing

I am making my first map ever, and it was going really well for a while. Of course, at one point or another, something had to have gone wrong.

I exported the terrain mask and height map into the map maker just fine, but when I exit and come back in, now it vanishes. Okay, not "vanishes" like that. It only shows a corner of the map. Like, in the mini-map, it only shows the "valley" that I made in the height map, meanwhile, I made a LOT more than just that. What should I do to fix this?

If you mean only the minimaps shows that little piece, but your map IS there, that always happens. For example, if I tested out my map with the minimap zoomed in into let's say a river, when I come back only the river will show on the minimap. You don't need to fix this, it's always what happens. Well, it could be a glitch, I'm not sure. But it just zooms in like that all the time.

No, I mean the actual map is gone.

What do you mean? The heightmap, just... could you take a screenshot of the issue..?
I'm pretty confused when it's not the zoom in glitch. You saved it, correct, by clicking save, right?

Yes, a screenshot would help. I've never heard of this glitch before..
