Map Maker Crashing

Every time I click on the 'map maker' button my game stops responding and crashes. This has happened before and I have just uninstalled the game then installed it again but I don't want to keep doing this. Is there any possible way to fix the crashing without having to re-install it?

Have you installed any meshes, textures ETC? If so delete them, some are too large for a computer/game/files/memory and cause the game to crash

I have downloaded meshes but it was still working after. A few days later it just randomly started to crash and I can't open it anymore.

Even though the meshes you download weren't an issue a couple days before, I would suggest taking them out, then re-adding them just a couple at a time. It's happened to me before. If that doesn't work, then I'd try just finding an alternative to the meshes you're using. If you dont find a solution, feel free to pm me or find me in game.
