a little object trouble

Ok so I'm making a little map world and for one map Kandy Kittens territory I needed pink trees. So I opened the oak leaves image and edited it to be pink saved it as Kandystree and copied and Renamed oak bark the same name as the leaves except I added bark at the end. So THEEEN I copied the .mesh and .material and named them Kandystree WELP I can't use Kandystree in map maker only Fir and Oak still...What went wrong?

If you are using the original tree material you have to make sure that you open it and change the coding so that it uses the image you want. Just re-naming it won't changed what it comes up as in game, it will still show the original tree texture.

Okay, did you also make sure you typed in the exact name of the .material file with the correct capitals as well? Also, did you save the image in the right format?
