My items wont appear on my chracter, Why is this happening?

So i downloaded Ringo and Delay's item pack. When i go to create a new character and go to click on an item it wont appear on my character. I followed the instructions on how to install it so i'm wondering why its doing this to me. Please if this has happened to you before give me some help on whats going on. Thank you! :3

Did you press the 'Add Item' button? (I beleive that's what it's called, it's under the item box.) After that, the item should have an O beside it in the list.

I was on youtube for like ever and i was looking it up on feral heart website. I followed all those instructions. And i did click the add button but it still didn't appear.

Did you make sure you replaced Feralheart's current Items.cfg file with the one in the download?

There should be an Items.cfg file in your download. Copy and paste it into your Feralheart folder, also paste it in your Feralheart>> Items folder. Make sure you replace both.

Replace the item.cfg ANDput the images/meshes on FH>items folder.
