Good catch! Shiya praised Blitz through her thoughts, stroking his slick neck. The dragon let out a grumbling growl of contentment, shifting his talons to get a better hold on the limp, lifeless stag in his clutches. Gaining altitude, Blitz pumped his wings quickly to slow himself to a hover above the rock ledge that led to their home caver. Shiya hopped down from the custom saddle, landing swiftly on the stone. Blitz loosened his grip on the stag, allowing it to fall the few feet onto the ledge. The woman gathered a few longs and tossed them into the stone circle that usually served as their fireplace. "Mind helping out?" She asked aloud with a smirk, staring up at the hovering beast.
Blitz smirked and raised his head. Opening his jaws, he jerked his head forward quickly, a small ball of blue lightning firing from his open maw. The ball exploded with a zap on the firewood, instantly igniting it with a loud crack. "THanks." Shiya winked at him, drawing her large dagger and scooting over to the mutilated stag's body. Blitz landed with a thud on the wide ledge beside her. "Right. So, a little for me-" She cut off a large chunk from the deer and a foreleg swiftly with her sharp dagger, then shoved the parcels to the side. "And the rest for you. Chow down, big boy." She shoved the remaining meat towards him, which was most of the intact body. Blitz dipped his head in a thanks and instantly shot his head forward, devouring half of the stag in one swift bite and tear.
