Heatwave!

So typically British of me to start complaining about the weather xD But it's a big deal with us!

Anyway, so here on the European side of the Atlantic, we've having a bit of a heatwave. Actually "a bit" isn't the right pharse for it. One hell of a massive heatwave! In Scotland near Glasgow, it was about 28 degrees a couple of weeks ago! Even Turkey wasn't as warm as that in June. Utter madness. I don't like it. >_>
Right, so what's the summer weather like where you are and how do you cope with extreme heat? Any recommendations of how to keep cool?

In the part of the US I am in It's like at boiling point here <_> We can't even go outside or else we risk heatstroke. But simple stay inside and eat ice cream is a good way to stay cool

It doesn't sound as bad here as it does for you guys, but it's still hot DX I would recmend carrying a small spray bottle of ice water around with you, or slap on a bathing suit and go swimming (I have my own pool, be jelly )

Omg, I wish we had a pool, it would be so helpful right now. But then we'd probably never use it any other time of the year and it'll probably been frozen up in the winter xD. But wandering about the house or garden in barely any clothes sounds like a good idea. Just remember sun cream 
Should probably go down the shop and get a few tubs of icecream too. xD

Good God...I've never even heard of Hell's Itch before.  It sounds absolutely awful! I'm not sure I could cope if I got it; I get irritated even with the slightest bit of sunburn.

Here in Virginia (USA) we have a little bit of a heat wave. .e.

kids, wear bright clothes. even if it looks ugly on you

WEAR IT ANYWAY.
and always have lots of water and water -3-
