FeralHeart.exe - System Error

I'm having issues with my Feral Heart download for my new laptop.

Feral Heart is downloaded on a separate PC of mine, but has caught a virus and is no longer usable. I've come to last resorts of downloading the game on my laptop.

Every time I download the game from the site, however, I will open Feral Heart and a note will appear on the screen that states:

"The program can't start because d3x9_42.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this program."

Well, I have reinstalled the program multiple times. Each time the same issue occurs and I have searched over a large amount of Google and this site and tried many suggestions. All of them come to fail me.

Also, I've tried the torrent and each time only one file is downloaded and it opens with Notepad, which does nothing but show the code/key.
Is this suppose to happen?

I'm desperate to return to Feral Heart and my friends I am separated from at this moment.

If anyone knows a way around this please tell me, I would really appreciate it!

I downloaded the file and it did get rid of the message. Though now it says "Feral Heart has stopped working" when I click on the game launcher.

Is there an update occurring in Feral Heart at the moment? I'm aware that they do them late at night [as it is in my time zone]

Or is this another issue?

Have you downloaded the patch yet? Its in downloads on the FH site.

Don't worry floof. Just do this thing that ingredient gave you a link to. I get this when I play but not often it says  "FeralHeart exe. has stopped working"  but it doesn't happen often. Anyways hope this helps!

No DirectX installed on your computer is most likely the problem. I hope the link fixes the problem

This will be fixed in no time! There is always a way to get around. The internet is quite complicated sometimes. There will not be anymore uptadates since the game creator, KovuLKD, left WITH THE SOURCE CODE! Sorry if this has caused any problems or concerns.
