Apprentice Training Tips?
« on: August 08, 2013, 02:18:01 am »
I recently joined a warriors role play and was chosen to be a mentor. This is my first time being a mentor, so naturally I want my apprentice to be the best. She is shy and semi-weak, so im taking her swimming to "work on her strength."
We tried battle training, and she ok. But I'm having trouble thinking of ways to teach. This fascinates me, since I've read every warriors book, but I'm just honestly confused about what I should say or do. So, any tips on how I should train her?
I'm planning to take her swimming for a while, then practice her hunting crouch since she cant keep it up for long. So really, its just fighting and defending that i need help with. Thanks!

What I'd suggest is asking your leader OOC or making up your own type of defense moves and battle moves.
For my characters I usually make up battle moves all the time that are my own, but if it comes to training apprentices which I never did I do suggest asking the leader in "OOC" or try to get them familiar with your style of battle in the roleplay or just teach them your good and most-often used battle moves.
Apprentice training probably can be hard I imagine. Just try my suggestions perhaps.
