Preset Transparency And Map Help

I can make presets, but I really want to learn how to do transparency. I cant seem to find any good tutorials on it. So if someone could explain this to me or link me to a tutorial it be great!

I want to add moutains to one of my maps. But they always come out like wierd ploe things. Help? I also was wondering how to make the portal black like the one to fitcho.

Like, a black portal and not gold? Just click "Black Material" in the portal box thing if that's what you mean.

Transparency.. I believe there is a tutorial some where, actually I can quote something that might help.

Hay this really helped me. I'm not sure if you did put this in but how do you make one body part invisible?

Haven't gotten to that code yet.
But all you need to do is add alpha_rejection greater_equal 128 above the texture_unit line.
Then for your texture you just use the eraser and erase the part you want to be transparent.
Save the image as a .png and make sure your code says .png for the texture, not .jpg. c:

I would think that's what you would need to do. There is also this video tutorial on making transparent presets if you want to take a look at it
