Packing a map for download
« on: August 12, 2013, 11:39:20 pm »
Dear people of FeralHeart,
I enjoy making maps and playing with the map maker, but I have just one problem, I can't figure out how to put up some of my maps i've made for download on a website where people can download them.
If anyone can answer this question, thanks. :)

A lot of people tend to use Mediafire to upload maps and such, and it's a good one to use. You have to make an account to use it, but it's completely free to sign up.

This is how to upload a map for peeps to download:

1) Export map from the map maker
2) Create a folder for your map and place all the exported files into that folder. Rename the folder the name of your map (optional).
3) Right click the folder, go to 'Send to' and click 'Compressed (zipped) folder'
4) Log in to mediafire and click the 'Upload' button and click 'From computer'.
5) Click the big plus sign in the window that just popped up, and search for the map folder.
6) Press the 'begin upload' button to upload the file. :)

I hope this was helpful :D
