The Hound of the Baskervilles (Minor Gore)
« on: August 16, 2013, 12:57:59 am »
This set of stories is not for children under 13, people afraid of dogs, or people who are easily scared by blood/gore. Thank you.

A black hound trod through the undergrowth. He had a specific task. He would not fail. He placed his nose on the ground and sniffed for a bit. He came this way. He lifted his head and ran through the bushes. His tail was held high. His paws were large, and his claws larger than any known dog's OR wolf's. He had glowing green eyes that could be seen anywhere. When he opened his mouth, an eerie green light shone from his throat, illuminating his mouth to an alien green color. He pricked his small ears as a bloodcurdling scream echoed through the darkness. He sped up. The black hound skidded to a halt at the edge of a clearing. Hugo Baskerville was kneeling over a body of a pretty, yet dead, woman, with a bloody knife in his hands. The hound leapt into the clearing, barking loudly and pouncing on Hugo. Hugo screamed, and ran, but not before the hound bit his throat. Hugo gurgled, and cried out for his henchmen. The hound ripped and tore his throat. Hugo fell limp. The curse was then created....
-
Many months later, the hound stood rigid watching a hunter and his hunting dogs. Sir Rodger Baskerville. A famous hunter, and a descandent of Hugo. The hunter walked into his room. Perfect. The Hound leapt in, breaking the window. Rodger smirked and reached for his crossbow. Too late, and too stupid. Rodger wasn't afraid of him, but he should've been. Rodger's hounds yelped at the huge black Hound of Death. Rodger fired his crossbow, scraping him. He howled in pain, and he felt a pain in his front paw. He looked down, seeing a foxhound snarling, it's jaws locked onto his leg. He reached down, clamping his massive jaws over the hunting dog's neck. It snapped easily and he let go, dead. Looking up, the hound lunged for and grabbed Rodger's throat, and before he died, The Hound dragged him out of his room, preventing any blood from trailing.

Just days later, The Hound stood waiting for Luisa Baskerville, an actress. His green eyes glowed as the young actress tried to hide in a sactuary she created with her imagination. She couldn't escape his wrath that easily! The hound leapt for her, entering her world, and clawed her. Luisa dodged and leapt from her world, running to her door. The hound leapt infront of her, grabbing her waist and throwing her into a mirror. Both the girl and the mirror shattered. Luisa stood, wobbly. The hound charged. Before he knew it he was tangled in a marrionate ruler. The hound shrieked. Luisa tried to run past him, but one swing from his massive paw sent her flying into the wardrobe. A door fell from it's hinges. He untangled himself, grabbed the woman and slammed her to the couch, breaking a nearby vase and ending the actresses life.  He picked her body up and left the room. Many more Baskervilles to go. And only 3 down.

The Hound sniffed his way into James Baskerville's room. He was a surgeon, studying in a labratory beneath his room. He waited above the room, and soon enough James emerged. James turned, and at the sight of the Devil Hound he gasped. James dashed to a desk near the window, reaching for a syringe filled with a dark purple serum. The hound charged, knowing James had probably filled it with poison or something that could kill him. Before James could grab the syringe, the hound grabbed his legs and flung him across the room. An anamotronic model fell to the ground, a lung and a heart falling to the floor. James got up then fell. The hound charged across the room. Instead of lunging for James, the black hound swerved, moving his head behind a counter, and pushed it to the ground. The counter fell onto the doctor, ending his life. The hound dragged his body out from under the counter, and out the window.

Once he had made his way to Lilly Baskerville's room, the Hound was instantly uncomfortable. This person studied spiders and bees and insects.. and stuff. The hound burst in the window, and tried to make the kill quick and painless. But the entomoligist probably wanted a slow death. She looked at him, fear in her eyes, and ran towards the back door which led to the garden. Lily was about to open the door when the hound dragged her back. She screamed, and the Hound got a slap dead in the eye. He snarled in pain. Lily ran to her desk, infront of a terrarium holding termites. He flew a paw forward, claws ready. But Lily ducked, and the Hound slammed his paw into the hard glass. With a deep growl in pain and anger, he rammed Lily into the wall, blood scraping it. He dragged the limp body out of the room.
-
The Hound had to travel upstairs to get to Edward Baskerville the Famous Navigator's room. He burst the door down, and Edward turned and screamed. Edward put up a fight, attempting to punch the dog to death. Pitiful human, thinks he can take on me. He slammed Edward into the fish tank, breaking the tank and Edward's spine. With a shriek of pain he fell limp. He picked up the body and ran off, leaving the bloody room.

Once the Devil Dog reached Elizabeth Baskerville's room, the scent of water and paint made him cringe. Elizabeth was too busy to notice him enter the room. He let out a deep, low growl and the artist whirled around. A scream erupted and he rammed into her, splattering dirt and paint all over the eisel. Elizabeth screamed again, and demonic dog slashed her throat, and she fell still. He dragged her body away, leaving a slight blood trail.

The Psychoanalyst, Mary Baskerville, was his target now. She lived outside the manor. Didn't save her from being killed though. He crept towards the outbuildings, and waited for her to come outside.
It felt like an hour (only it was 3 minutes) before she came out to get some fresh air. He jumped at her, but instead of on her, he landed between her and the door. Mary screamed, and tried to run. Suddenly she turned and ran around him. He howled in anger, and followed her inside the building. He bust down the door, and chased her to the back of the room. She screamed. The Hound leapt at her, biting her throat, and dragging her outside, and away from the buildings.

Last Baskerville. Charles Baskerville. The Hound had waited months to get Charles scared, before entering the manor for the kill. He approached his room, and Charles saw him instantly. His eyes widened and he raced up a spiral staircase. The Hound reared up and dragged him down, breaking two stairboards in the process. Charles screamed and the Hound grabbed his throat and shook. Charles was dead. He picked up the body and ran out of the room.

A tugging feeling pulled the Hound from his home in an abandoned mine. The Hound slowly walked outside. He saw the ritual stones, Six Square shaped stones in a circle. The medallion was in the middle. His eyes widened. He ran forward, but then stopped, looking around before looking to the medallion in the middle. He suddenly remembered what happened nearly 100 years ago. That medallion belonged to Hugo Baskerville! He approached, almost hypnotized. He walked into the middle, and suddenly he was caught in the middle of a storm that drained the life from him. Before he knew it, he was reduced to nothing but ashes.

Just because the Hound has been killed.. doesn't mean it's soul can come for you...
