The dragon stood up, and walked outside. Before leaving, he looked at Marian, "Stay here, my maiden. I will go hunt." Marian nodded, wiping the nap from her eyes. She had taken a nap apparently. Marian stood up and walked towards the entrance of the cave, watching the large dragon fly into the distance. The instinct to escape from the dragon's cave was screaming at her, but Marian pushed it away. If she did run away, the dragon could easily catch her. She slowly walked outside, and a patch of large grass. She picked the grass, and walked back inside. She made 2 more trips until she had a small bed of grass. The dragon returned with a clutch of eggs held gently in it's jaws. He lay two down infront of Marian, and breathed a bit of fire on them. Marian poked the egg when he walked away, eggs in his mouth. It was hot, but not burning hot. She gently began peeling the shell away, and ate the inside, shaking slightly at the almost over-cooked taste.
