transparent preset help

Guys i need help. I am trying to make a transparent preset on photoshop and i added a new layer with those little squares in it and i erased the parts but it just shows me the white scene instead the grey-white squary one. Help. Im trying my best.

I think you need to change the layer mode to Transparent...somehow. I'm not sure how to do it on Photoshop since I that's not what I use. :/

Preferences ? Transparency & Gamut is where you change your transparency grid~

Kay i will do it in a couple of days because im on vaication with no computers and i will go back home in thursday morning.

Here on the Feral Heart forums there are Members made Tutorials and there are literally loads of tutorials on presets and all the needed coding's to make them work. Here's one I made a while ago that talks about the basics of Transparent presets.
