BIG Elemental Map! (Very experienced map maker needed)

Ah, I wish you luck with your map. It sounds very exciting and interesting.

Alright alright, I was thinking of something like that, but I wasn't exactly sure what you would want to call it.

And another thing, since I can only use 3 ground textures for the entire map, do you think you edit the blueprints a bit? For some reason, when you make the mask for a map, you can only use three colors, hence you can only use 3 grounds.

What I was going to do was make the Fire and Electric Clan grounds the same, use the Ice texture for the Water Clan, and then a Light Brown sand for Air and the bed of the rivers and lakes. I just wanted to see if that was ok with you, or if you had any other suggestions~

And hey Mythrim floof, I'm sure you can do 6 terrain grounds. I've seen a tutorial somewhere, so if I find it I'll send it to you. Anyways, I wish you luck with creating this extraodinary map. I hope it all goes well with you.

Oh and Vask, here's the height map for the RP.


The top right was supposed to be for Air, top left for Water, bottom right for Fire, middle for Earth, and the bottom left WAS going to be Electricity (But I can think of a better use for it) X3

Oh, and that there on the very right are stairs to the Council. They'll probably end up too high in the map, and I'll have to add extra stairs, but oh well XD

I would've started the map by now, but I went on a mesh-fest, and now I'm spending hours just adding new meshes into my creator XD
I did find a cloud that you could stand on though!
I also found some nice beddings, bones, caves, textures, etc etc.

I'll list them all in the download to make sure the credit is distributed fairly, lol.

Also, if you like, you can send me Map Rules/Info etc etc ahead of time if you like. That way I can go ahead and begin building a Notepad for the .zip file :3

So I went around looking to see if I could find the tutorial that Microfloof had mentioned, and I did! I now know how to make a map with 6 different textures instead of 3, so if you'd like your Lightning Clan back, I'm totally cool with that XD

So now, the Water Clan has an icy terrain, the Air Clan has a brownish-looking one, the Fire Clan has the lava-like one, The beds of the rivers and lakes have beach sand,  what was supposed to be Lightning Clan Territory has a broken stone texture, and then the rest is just a nice grass texture.

You know, I could export what I have so you can walk around and see what I've got thus far when you get the time (but only if you want to).

Wow you have gotten a lot done!!! I would like the lightning clan back if possible, thanks! I am typing from my phone so i wont be home this weekend. But it sounds great! There is really no need for rules in notepad, since this is gonna be a private map, sokeep md updated and when you are done, PM me the link
