My friend is having a map problem, please help.

My friend is the creator of a pack on FH that I joined the other day but before I joined her pack I was creating a map for the pack. I'm finished with the map and she downloaded it but whenever she installs my map it causes her game to crash, it can't be anything wrong with the map itself because I had her friend test it and it worked perfectly fine for her.


I even had her try removing all of the maps she had installed and just having my map in there but she still has the same problem. Any idea what would make my map cause her game to crash? Any help would be much appreciated. I had her upload her log file to me after her game crashed so I could see if there were any errors.

Perhaps she placed some files in the wrong folders? It is quite easy to make a few mistakes while installing maps, especially if there are custom objects and textures in it.. which by reading the log I can tell you used a few objects not already provided in the game itself. Try aiding her when downloading / installing the map if that is the case.

If she knows how to install maps already and mistakes seem out of the question, then it could possibly be the game itself that is having issues. A few files are corrupt, as I can see from the log. Tell her to delete the game as well as the main folder, and completely reinstall it again. This should fix the problem. ~

If .exe's suggestion above didn't work, delete all the duplicates of the particle folders (_0 _1 etc) since this can happen sometimes and it always causes trouble. Good luck floof.

Thank you for the help, my friend got it working, she was talking to someone on Feral Heart that helped her fix it. She said it was something to do with some of the objects and shapes I used, she said she just removed them from her exports folder and that fixed the problem.
