Thousands of years ago, the land of FeralHeart was not ruled by the lions and the wolves. Instead, it was ruled by cruel, furless creatures called humans. Some tried to save the earth, while others didn't care about what they were doing. It was a dark time, and eventually the planet was overrun with trash and despair. Things were in turmoil, but it all ended. Humans were struggling to survive, living off of mere scraps. One day, the sky filled with a brightness beyond compare. Everyone turned to the sky, and a meteor was hurtling towards earth. Panic ensued, and no humans survived once the meteor hit. There was a massive explosion, wiping out all life above ground. But some tame dogs and cats had sensed this coming days earlier and taken shelter underground, abandoning their humans.
A few months passed, and life grew hospitable above ground once more. Underground, the cats and dogs had grown accustomed to living together, and one day one of them poked their head above ground. The land was barren, save for one lone flower that grew in the ground and opened its petals up to the sky. This became a symbol of hope, and the cats and dogs decided to rename the land FeralHeart.
Over the millennium, the land grew fertile once more. The dogs and cats, once house pets, evolved back into their ancestors: wolves and other big dogs, and lions and big cats. Some stayed small, but they were still useful. Now, the land of FeralHeart is alive and thriving with activity. Wolves play with their pups, and lions hunt and talk together in grand prides. The sky is blue and the air sweet, the stars brighter than ever before.
This is the history of FeralHeart.
