Front Server Disconnect.

So this is actually for my friend... She's been on FH for however long I've been on, but for the past four months or so, it hasn't been allowing her to log into her FH. It's been giving her the notice "Failed to connect to front server" when I know that the main server is on and she has internet. She's tried re-downloading the game multiple times and nothing has worked. When she tried logging in using her other computer, it just shuts down without even opening up.
She's been getting very stressed about it and wanted to know if there was someone out there to help her. Could anyone help?

Hmm. I asked for what you're experiencing happens to the lot of us if it's the server that's the problem. It all depends on the server really. For instance, if you log in and play in-game for a while then every so often you get a 'Failed to connect to front server' or 'Disconnected from map server', then that's just normal and it's basically the server being a little troll.

To change your rendering system, it should pop up when you first click on your Feralheart icon on your desktop. However, if it doesn't, then click on it simultaneously two or three times in order to launch more than one game. When you do that, a pop up will show, looking like this:


Click on the arrow pointing down next to the 'OpenGL Rendering Subsystem' and an option below it should say 'Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem' (or vice versa if you're already using the Direct3D9 subsystem). Merely click on that option then launch the game and see if anything changes.

My friend went to go and try that but she doesn't seem to have the Direct3D9...

Plus, she's now able to get to her characters, but when she clicks 'start' it gives her a sign saying 'Failed to connect to Main server'

Tell her to go check her internet connection, it eithr might be that. For the Direct3D9 problem, go to "Home > c: > FeralHeart > ogre.cfg" The current Rendering System should be OpenGL, and she has to replace OpenGL Rendering Subsystem with Direct3D9 Rendering Dubsystem. I eill explain more when I get back on my laptop.

Thank you for your help, but I finally got it up My internet wasn't bad or anything. We don't know what we did to get it to work. The only problem now is that my apostrophe doesn't work for FH. It works on everything else, though.
