so i was following the map making tutorial and i was putting my map in game. but when i typed in the name of my height map in the world section and then went to type in the terrain mask name the game shut down. why did it do this and how do i fix it

i have found my hightmaps hate to be .png files.

save it as jpg and try again.

make sure when you are typing it in to make it a .jpg not .png

I DID IT BUT THEN MY COMPUTER SAID THAT IT COULDNT FIND THE FILE?

is it saved in the right place? did you type the name right? have you saved it in greyscale? is it 513x513?

i dont know where is it supposed to be saved (this is my first maop) i know i typed the name right cuz i double checked like 5 times, and with my paint program i cant save in greyscale.
