UV Maps/ get the Texture in Blender

Hey guys,
I have a problem. Again. .3.
I tried to mesh with the Hammy tutorial, but i dont understand that part with the texture and the material :/
I tried to put the texture in blender, but it wont show up! D: And when i convert my mesh shows it just completly blank in FH. :l And, how do i taht with the material file?

i dont know much but from what ive heard alkl objects and meshes should have their own seperate folders (sorry if this wasnt your problem im not good with this stuff)

You need to select all the faces and then press U to give it a UV map.

Well, i already selected all, but, when i press u and click on something, wont it shows up.
