Lightningpaw gazed around the camp a moment, and perked her ears as Gorsestar called Lightstep. She saw the she-cat happily padding to the warriors den. Most likely a mission about Cliffclan. She mused. She headed to the apprentices den and sat down outside of it, letting her tail go over her paws. She watched the clan cats talk to each other, telling the clanmates that didn't go what happened. After listening to how a few cats described what happened, she weaved between nests to hers. She had choose in the very back, where there where less likely to notice her black fur. She curled up and watched the other apprentices.

Tigerroar lead Owlpaw out of the gathering place.
He walked beside her, "Owlpaw I need to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"I am taking you to Fathomir tomorrow night."
"Really?!" Tigerroar nodded, and entered Vineclan Territory. The trees got more lush and a few vines snaked towards the ground.

Soon enough Tigerroar and Owlpaw made it back to camp. Owlpaw trotted towards the apprentices den, telling the ones who stayed she would tell them about it. Tigerroar went to the Warriors den and curled up. He was soon asleep.

Lightningpaw was still awake, and she could sense a apprentice's eagerness about something. She watched as Owlpaw, who also went to the gathering, come in with a lot of energy. What's gotten her so...happy? Lightningpaw watched Owlpaw for a moment before lifting her head up to see her better. "What's got you tail in a twist?" Lightningpaw meowed, a little wary since her clanmates still might not trust her. So she wasn't clan born? All cats have the right to be treated fairly. That didn't happen back at my home. A small shiver went though her at the thought.

     Cardinalstar stalked around his camp. They desperately needed medicine for the greencough. The warrior's den now served as a larger medicine cat den and the cats who were healthy had to sleep outside the warm confines of the camp. Cliffclan's medicine cat and his apprentice worked hard each day. The apprentice was even training some of the younger warriors and apprentices the healing basics. They need to at least steal from WaterClan. Cardinalstar wasn't always like this, now even believing that StarClan has left them he had taken a few glances at the DarkForset for help and then they had told him was to target WaterClan. Of course he told no one this so there was no treachery in his clan.

Owlpaw smiled at Lightningpaw, "Tigerroar said he would take me to Fathomir tomorrow night! I get to see Fortis Animam himself!"
"No way!" An apprentice mewed.

Fortis suddenly got a tingling sense. His eyes clouded, and he stood up, walking to his pool. The pool was too tiny to use as a proper connection with Starclan, but it was a great Seer pool. A large brown tabby and a small apprentice where there. By their slender forms and strong legs they must be from Vineclan. He knew they would come to see him either tomorrow night or the night after. Another cat to put to sleep, but another cat to meet.

The sky began to darken as Gorsestar went into his den. He slid into his bedding and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Lightningpaw blinked. "Fathomir...Fortis Animam?" Lightningpaw felt annoyed that there was still something she didn't know. "What is it, and who's Fortis Animam?" She grumbled, but she couldn't hide that she was curious.

Owlpaw looked at her, "It's ok if you don't know him. Some cats have never been there. Well Fathomir is this place far north of the Gathering Place. Fortis Animam is a huge leopard that lives there and he speaks with Starclan! He puts cats to sleep and gives them their dreams! Tigerroar is taking me tomorrow night so he can show me my destiny!"

Lightningpaw relaxed, and listened until she was finished. "I've heard of lions and tigers, never a leopard," her tail twitched. "I wish I get to meet him soon. Then I'll know what a leopard and a tiger looks like." She blinked, and thought about Owlpaw wondering by what she ment 'and a tiger'. "Oh, my only sibling looked like a tiger. They called him Stripe." She meowed, hoping she wouldn't push her to speak more about her brother.
