Ok, before you say 'This is stupid I am leaving!' please take the time to read this species board. I thought it would be a little creative. Well, here goes nothing...
All members of this species is unique, no butterfly animal is the same. Even twins have differences. Now let's start with some butterflies shall we?
The Butterfly Insect
The most common the of butterflies, these are small with black bodies. Their wings usually range from white to red to blue to black. Their size depends on their type. They do not have fur. When they are born they eat leaves, and spend their first winter in a cocoon. When spring comes their emerge from their cocoon as a Butterfly Insect. They live for about 2 months, using their time wisely to breed and pass on their genes.
The Butterfly Wolf.
The butterfly wolves are beautiful creatures. The largest was recorded to be 10 inches from the top of their wings to their paws, and 10 inches long. Their wing colors range from blue to black, and rarely red. They have fur. When their are born they start off as wolf pups, only about 2 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches long. They babies prey on only insects. Before winter they build cocoons, and spend the winter in it. When they emerge the average adult is 8 inches tall and 9 inches long. They live for about 2 months and 15 days.
The Butterfly Lion.
King of the Insects, Butterfly lions have fluffy manes that cover the male's necks. Their wing colors range from dark yellow to dark red. They spend their winters in a coccoon, and when they remerge, males have manes and females don't. The average adult is about 7 in. tall and 7 in. long. They prey on small beetles and sometimes ants. They live for about 3 months.
