Re-installing question

I'd like to re-install FH to get a clean start and remove all the old map files and cluttered crap, but I don't know what happens. Will it only delete the actual game? What happens if I delete the FH folder in C:/Program Files? Do I lose my characters? Will my old map files be removed so I can start new?

Dont worry, your characters wont be deleted :] and the maps on the other hand will be deleted

Your characters are saved on the server so deleting your game will not affect them. If you have any downloaded markings and items then deleting the game will remove those addons and you will not see them on your characters.

Feralheart will be deleted ofcourse, nothing will happen.

You start back at square one, with an original FH. No mods, items, extra markings, etc.
You lose everything except your account and characters.
