Animals that inhabit Montana~ If you don't know what animals live in this great wilderness, here is a list.
Bighorn Sheep (They have horns, not antlers. They curve around the side of their heads)
Bison (A large mammal, they have smaller horns, but huge bodies)
Black Bear (The Black Bear can climb, but if afraid to fight)
Bobcat (They are smaller cats, and have a stub tail)
Canada Lynx (They are a bit larger than Bobcats, but also have no tail)
Coyote (Smaller than the wolf, they have browish silverish coats)
Gray Wolf (Majestic and Fierce, Gray wolves live in packs. They are the largest of the canine family)
Grizzly Bear (They cannot climb, but are extremely deadly in fights)
Eastern Cottontail (They have fluffy tails, but are very fast)
Elk (Their antlers curve behind their heads, and have majestic calls)
Moose (Largest of all deer, they have 'dished' out antlers)
Mountain Goat (They live in mountains. Both males and females grow horns)
Mountain Lion (A large brownish cat, who's call is loud and high pitched)
Mule Deer (These deer have larger antlers than Whitetail deer)
Raccoon (Small, 'bandits', Raccoons have a black 'mask' and a black ringed tail)
Red Fox (They are small and fluffy, the Red Fox lives on it own, living with others only for mating season, and raising pups)
Snowshoe Hare (They have extremely large back legs. They have brown coats in the summer, and white in the winter)
Swift Fox (Swift Foxes are fast, but also endangered. They have grayish backs and orangish bodies)
Whitetailed Deer (Whitetailed deer have antlers that go up and curve forward)
Woodland Caribou (Their antlers are 'circular'. Females are brown and Males are silverish)
