Velenka heard a cat scrambling to get up the rock. She got an idea and picked up and dragged Volos's body to the edge where she heard the cat climbing up. She tossed the body of the Second-in-Command warrior off the edge-right ontop of the the cat climbing up.

Velenka gasped for air aas the princess leapt ontop of her, then stumbled off the edge but landed on her paws. Velenka stood up and observed the battle. Mau's army was starting to dwindle, but the Deir warriors were tired and growing weak, encouragements and the future of their clan keeping them from dying. She yowled over the battle, "Deir warriors! Don't give up! We almost have them!" Their eyes showed they understood. She then leapt into the battle. She landed ontop of Mau. Seeing her chance and grabbed the cruel princess's shoulder, biting down hard behind she leapt off infront of her to face Mau.

Velenka yowled in pain but kept herself from collapsing. She tried to reach for the Onyx, but failed. She turned towards Mau, her shoulder scarred and her nack battered. She watched sadly as the now stronger guards and soldiers gathered around the torn clan, throwing the bodies of their relatives and clan-mates infront of them.

(What is the call >^> Is it the 'Retreat' or what?)

((I would suppose it would be the signal to try and retreat. o.o))

     Mau chuckled faintly. "The Deir clan is no more!" She yowled over the fighting. "Those who were brave enough to fight, you all will have the choice to be either flatlined, or killed, or to serve and build the castle of Rakuzan."

[Howl at the Moon]

Gino edged towards the back of the crowd, behind Mau. A guard growled, "You aren't escaping!"
"I have to go."
"Go where?"
"To go!"
He sneered, "Fine, you have 1 minute."
Gino ran off towards the dirtplace. But he doubled back and crawling onto the Announcing Ledge. He crouching down, and aimed for the guard holding the Onyx. He leapt, but instead of grabbing the guard he stole the Onyx. He ran back so he was out of their fire range, and he held the onyx in his paw, ready to slam it down, "Let us go or the Onyx shatters!"

white ears perked, fengari turned her head back to the unfamiliar cat that stood behind the crowd, her ice-blue eyes blinking in confusion and in curiously before turning her head back to the old broken throne. The black and white feline sat down, her tail wrapped neatly around her white paws as she waited for falitna to speak.

     The guard hissed as he latched his jaws on Gino's tail, summon more guards to bring him down. Another snatched the gem and disappeared into the safety of the walls, while the larger guards brought the escaped tom back to the territory.

      Falitna blinked and bowed her head once Fengari and Geist caught up.
      "Speak, Falitna..." a female shouted above the murmurs. "What shall we do...? What can we do...? If we escape, the guards will find and kill us... if we fight, they'll flatline us, and put us in the ranks with the soldiers so we can die..."
       The ebony she-cat closed her oceanic eyes in thought. "We'll need the stones... but, if we steal them, we'll wind up being executed when caught..."
       "Then you can do it for us!" a tom yowled. "You're the sneakiest out of us, and you're as agile and strong as a tiger!"
       "We, who were raised under the sapphire, are. All of us. I'm not the only one from that clan anymore. We have a new member!" she stood up. "She's my clan-mate, Fengari!"
       Geist bowed his head and motioned for Fengari to make herself known.

[Howl at the Moon]

Gino hissed as a guard bit his tail, and was held down while another guard held the Onyx. He strunggled but the guard hissed, "Nice exuse buddy, I actually believed you for a second." He saw it was the same guard that he had passed earlier. He growled, "Shut your mouse hole, you measly coward!" The guard, who wasn't flatline, actually looked stunned.
"Why you little..." He growled and scratched Gino on the head. Gino winced in pain and clawed him back. The two kept clawing eachother until Gino clawed his throat. Blood poured onto Gino, but it wasn't his blood. The guard collasped. Gino, without even thinking, ran out of the camp. He didn't ever look back.
