Sitka started scraping dirt over the main entrance, the majority of the cats in the small room were watching him. Soon enough he had blocked off the entrance, only the top was exposed. He turned, and the cats were watching him. He pushed past them and walked to a corner, curling up. He didn't even bother to curl his tail over his nose.


Velenka watched as Mau retreated with her cats, the clan was battered and torn. At least 15 of their cats lay dead in the camp. Why had Mau brought so few cats? She probably thought Deir was weak. She was wrong. At least 10 of her best guards we're dead, and her second in command, Volos, was dead. She sighed, ten guards wasn't very much, but if they wanted to defeat Mau, it was a good start.

[Howl at the Moon]

Essix sighed, "You are accepted into this clan Gino. You look like a fighter from Deir. You may be an Elite Fighter here." He jumped on a rock, "Terari! This cat here, Gino, has come from Deir! He brings sad news that Mau has attacked Deir and stolen the Onyx!" Cats around him gasped. But Essix continued, "Gino here, will be an Elite Fighter from this day forward!" Some cats moved to congratulate him, while other stayed in their spot but cheered. Essix went on, "We must start preparing for Mau. If she wants the Emerald, she will have to fight for it!" The whole clan cheered. Essix howled, "NOW WHO'S WITH ME?!"

[Howl at the Moon]

The whole of Terari yowled, and Essix mewed youdly, "Now, let's get out defenses up!" Cats got to work. Gino joined them, helping the Stonecarvers carve stone barricades and barriers. He wasn't great at it, but the Stonecarving Master, Slice, helped him become so good he was a natural.

Velenka was placed inside a large cage, that looked like it was made of stone or some weaker metal. Her brother and sister, both kittens, were placed the same cage with her. The crawled under her, "Velenka.. I don't want to be slaves..." The older sister, Kika, whimpered. "Shh..." She licked both of the kittens, their pelts still fuzzy, "I will get us out..somehow."

It was at least five minutes until Velenka thought up a plan. She whispered in Kika and her brother's ear, Kiko the plan. The plan was that Kika and Kiko would act injured, and Velenka would blame the guard, and while she was beating him, they would escape through a dent Velenka slowly had created in the back bars. But, Velenka knew the bad part of the plan was, she would have to injure her own kin for it to work. She lightly picked up Kiko's paw, and a tiny crunch was heard. She quickly did it to Kika, and they both squealed. (I hope you don't mind if I play Mau for a bit) Mau rushed over, Velenka already getting the blood off her teeth. "What happened?!" She demanded her eyes filled with rage that her to-be guards/slaves were injured. Velenka whimpered, her own paw was 'injured', "That horrible guard..! He bit us, saying he would be the next king and he planned to overthrow you!"
"WHAT?!" Mau demanded facing the guard, who had a look of disbelief on his face, "You! You were trying overthrow me!"
Velenka mewed, adding to her lies, "And he said that he was going to steal all the stones before he killed you!" Mau seemed enraged, "What else did he plan to do?!" "He told us that you were never going to be a great ruler, and you were as stinky as a fox, and he also said you were as useless as a deaf kit!" Mau roared, grabbing the guard, and they both wrestled for the upper paw. Velenka grabbed the kit's by their scruff and she squeezed through the bars, running like heck. She turned, seeing a crowd gathering around the two. She turned and ran, until she found a hole in the ground. She ran down, finding a wall of dirt. Seeing the top open, she gathered strength in her back legs, and lept into the room, landing on her side. The kits landed safely, but Velenka lay on the ground. She looked around the room, cats were gathering around. A large tabby guard was with them. Her paw was bleeding, and her shoulder was badly bleeding as she had landed straight on it. Velenka blacked out.

     Zemina was pushed in with the patrol led by an enraged Mau. Seeing Mau stupidly tricked by the prisoner. As Mau turned her rage to the innocent guard Zemina saw a flicker at the edge of her vision. It was the she-cat! Mau should have executed her when they laid their paws on her! Zemina thought as the cat dashed into a hole. The kits had gotten out but a guard had the rebellious she-cat captured.

     Mau scoffed faintly and glanced towards Zemina. "When we get to Rakuzan, we'll execute the remaining." She sighed faintly.
